Targeting Palestinian-American congresswoman Rashida Tlaib for her views against Israeli policies, Hill TV censured and blocked an interview with Tlaib on the show “Rising” with host Katie Halper.
Tlaib had made her views against Israeli policies that mistreat Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories and quoting International and Israeli human rights organizations describing Israel as an apartheid state.
Hill TV is a case in point of how mainstream American media flaunt their bias and anti-Palestinian racism to favor Israel. It also shows that the US media is far from fair or balanced when it comes to covering Israeli aggression against the Palestinians. Israel remain over and above criticism by the mainstream media in the US.
Tlaib had criticized her “progressive” fellow members of congress stating that “I want you all to know that among progressives, it becomes clear that you cannot claim to hold progressive values yet back Israel’s apartheid government.” After blocking Tlaib interview, Hill TV which is owned by Nexstar Media Group also fired the host Katie Halper.
