Andrew E. Harrod of the right wing Campus Watch whose mission is to intimidate and censure pro-Palestinian academics and stifle free speech is once again targeting Palestinian-American academic Noura Erakat.
Harrod is turning Erakat arguments against Zionism as a nationalist ideology into an accusation of “anti-Semitism”. Erakat who is a Palestinian American academic doesn’t shy away from defending Palestinian right to self-determination and calling for ending Israeli military occupation of Palestinian territories it occupied since 1967.
Zionism as well Israel as a state or a political entity shouldn’t be treated as sacred by placing them above legitimate criticism. This, especially when it comes to the continuous push to advance Pro-Israel arguments that deny Palestinians existence in Palestine and their right to end Israeli occupation.
Campus Watch mission is to smear, intimidate and target any pro-Palestinian academic or activist and force US academic institutions to support Israeli military occupation of Palestine and deny Palestinian rights and aspirations to be free and independent. Read more here
