In a blog filled with misleading and deceptive information about Arab and Palestinians alleging rather falsely that Arabs wanted to “annihilate” Jews or Israel. Paul Gherkin argues in the Jewish Press, that the founding of Israel in Palestine was a natural event. While Palestinians who resisted the destruction of their homes, towns and cities by Jewish forces during the violent founding of Israel in 1948 were simply wanted to kill Jews. This is far from the truth. Israel is forcing a 50 year-old military occupation on Palestinians. Jewish Israeli forces has killed and massacred thousands of civilian Palestinians from the the 1940s until this day. It also expelled hundreds of thousands more of Palestinians who later became stateless refugees in the region. Gherkin’s reductionist approach is all too common among extremist right wing supporters of Israel. First they deny that Palestinians ever existed, and if they did, they frame them as “anti-Semitic” and blood thirsty killers. This worldview is heavily distorted and deceptive. Original blog here
