Hussain Abdul-Hussain a self-identified Iraqi-Lebanese former journalist wrote successive tweets expressing unlimited support of Israel and demonizing and attacking Palestinians. In his defense of Israel, Abdul-Hussain attacked Amnesty International report that identified Israel an “Apartheid state” as “anti-Semitic”. He also attacked Palestinians for speaking up against Israeli occupation. Abdul-Hussain offered no evidence of his ” anti-Semitic” charge against Amnesty’s report.
Abdul-Hussain is a pro-Israel Arab Zionist. His attack on Palestinians echoes attacks made by right-wing extremist groups in the US and Israel. His arguments against the Palestinians are fallacious and superficial. Abdul-Hussain is a research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracy, (FDD) an extremist right wing pro-Israel group.
