Louisiana Judge should resign for using racial slurs

Lafayette City Court Judge Michelle Odinet was placed on unpaid leave after a racial slur was used repeatedly purportedly by her following a robbery attempt at her house last Saturday. The N word was heard clearly being used a number of times as her family gathered to watch home security footage of a foiled car burglary in their driveway. Judge Odinet was placed on leave instead of being asked to resign. As a judge, Odinet should display an exemplary behavior and solid moral character, in both her personal and professional life. Judge Odinet has shown her true character, and it is hard to trust that she will be impartial in her duties and responsibilities as a judge — she should resign from her position immediately. character test and therefore she should resign her office.
