America’s “newspaper of record” has presented plenty of Israeli/Zionist perspectives since Oct. 7. In aggregate, this op-eds parrot Israeli propaganda by cheering on the genocidal war on Gaza, slandering opposition, particularly student protest, to the war on Gaza as antisemitism and in general promote a one-sided view of affairs. To date, the New York Times has publishd at least 68 op-eds (not including letters to the editor) from the Israeli perspective, some of which are extremely hawkish in support of a continuation of the war on Gaza. The paper has also featured at least 69 op-eds at least sympatheic to the Palestinians plight and/or critical of McCarthyite attempts to silence pro-Palestinians views. It’s worth mentioning that a minority of these latter op-eds have been written by Palestinians themselves.
